- Float and fish the Deschutes during the famous salmon fly hatch: 4 days and 3 nights for four people. Hosted by WaterWatch’s Bob Hunter and certified casting instructor John MacDiarmid. The trip will run from Trout Creek to Maupin, June 2011. Rick Hafele, noted author, aquatic insect expert, and fly tier will be along on the trip to provide in-depth knowledge of insect hatches and fish behavior. John and Bob and team will row the boats, set camp, cook and do all the work while your group of four fish the hatch, relax and enjoy the incredible beauty of the Deschutes Canyon.
