Join WaterWatch of Oregon for a special evening at the Powell’s Beaverton location in Cedar Hills as we welcome angler, author, and musician Steve Duda of Patagonia. The former editor at The Flyfish Journal and a founding editor at Boise Weekly, Steve’s writing has appeared in the Huffington Post, Rolling Stone, Seattle Weekly, San Francisco Bay Guardian and other outlets. We’re thrilled to have him join us as he discusses and reads selections from his new book River Songs: Moments of Wild Wonder in Fly Fishing, talks with WaterWatch of Oregon development officer and Writers On the Fly colleague Jesse Robbins, and takes questions from our audience. Tickets are on sale now for our 22nd Annual Celebration of Oregon Rivers and you, your family, friends, and colleagues are invited to join us Saturday, Oct. 5th, at the World Forestry Center in Washington Park for an evening of hors d’oeuvres, drinks, dinner, and bidding as we celebrate another year of victories for Oregon’s rivers with a fully-catered menu from Elephants Delicatessen, craft beer from Hopworks, and wine from Sokol Blosser.
