ANNUAL AUCTION

WaterWatch’s 22nd Annual Celebration of Oregon Rivers returns to the World Forestry Center in Washington Park.

Tickets for our 22nd Annual Celebration of Oregon Rivers are on sale now, so join WaterWatch on Saturday, Oct. 5th, at the World Forestry Center in Portland’s Washington Park for an evening of hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and dinner as we celebrate another year of victories for Oregon’s rivers. And don’t be late — silent auction bidding begins promptly at 5 p.m. when doors open. As noted above in the graphic, the address is 4033 SW Canyon Rd., Portland, 97221.

Gather with WaterWatch’s community of supporters, anglers, conservationists, and river fanatics to bid in our silent and live auctions featuring outdoor adventures and getaways across Oregon, the Pacific Northwest, and beyond — including guided fly fishing trips, tackle, local artwork, and more. Also enjoy a fully-catered menu from Elephants Delicatessen in Portland, with craft beer from Hopworks Brewery and wine from Sokol Blosser.

Secure your seat or table now, and don’t wait — tickets are available at the early bird price of $125 through Sept. 5th, after which they go to $140. Discounted tickets of $50 are available for students and active military members.

Your previous support has enabled WaterWatch to continue in its leadership role of removing obsolete barriers to fish passage on Oregon rivers and creeks, reforming antiquated water laws, defending and preserving our state’s groundwater from overuse and eradication, and protecting iconic species. Your generosity at events like our annual auction helps ensure we have an even stronger hand in Salem, especially heading into the long 2025 legislative session, and that we’re able to take on the legal fights and advocacy to preserve Oregon’s rivers, watersheds, and instream water rights.

Thank you again to our growing array of local sponsors, and to everyone who so far has donated an auction item or package. We’ll continue to announce auction prizes and packages leading up to the event in upcoming editions of Currents, at the Celebration of Oregon Rivers event page, and here at WaterWatch.org.

And remember, you can still make a contribution to WaterWatch of Oregon throughout the year. Thank you for your ongoing, enthusiastic support, and for helping us celebrate Oregon’s incredible rivers.
