Join Us in Eugene This Wednesday the 30th for an Oakshire Inspires Benefit

The environmental headlines have been difficult to digest lately, but we’re having a fantastic spring season here in Oregon, so we invite you to take a break and join us in Eugene on Wednesday to enjoy some conservation camaraderie, warmer weather, and an opportunity to connect with friends and neighbors about upcoming river adventures, fishing trips, hikes, and more.

Join WaterWatch this Wednesday, April 30th, from 5 to 8 p.m. for our first Oakshire Inspires event at the Oakshire Public House in Eugene, located at 207 Madison St. one block west of Washington Jefferson Park. Not only will this be a fun way to celebrate the season, but as part of Oakshire Brewing‘s ongoing support for local nonprofits, this event benefits WaterWatch of Oregon with one dollar from each core pint sold throughout the day going to our organization.

WaterWatch staff will be on-site from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday to connect and talk more about our ongoing programs and work, plus we’ll have our new Rivers Need Water and Oregon Rivers stickers, copies of our latest Instream newsletter, and we’ll have raffle tickets for sale for packages including books and our WaterWatch 40th Anniversary YETI Custom Water Bottles.

Bring your friends, family, and fellow water advocates for some after work conservation fun benefitting WaterWatch this Wednesday the 30th, and support our efforts to preserve Oregon rivers and streamflows.

Located in the Whiteaker neighborhood of Eugene, the Oakshire Public House also houses the Watershed Market, featuring an array of beer-to-go in cans and bottles, and a keg filling station. If you need to fill some of your empty growlers, perhaps now is the time!

We look forward to seeing you and talking more about our programs and work. Help us celebrate the spring season at this special Oakshire Inspires event benefitting WaterWatch of Oregon.

Visit our WaterWatch events page for more or go to the Facebook Events page, and we’ll see you at the Oakshire Public House this Wednesday, April 30th, from 5 to 8 p.m., as part of Oakshire’s daylong Oakshire Inspires benefit!
