WaterWatch’s 22nd Annual Celebration of Oregon’s Rivers — What to Know Before You Go

Oct. 5, 2024

We’ve arrived! Today is the day of our annual auction event. We can’t wait to see you this evening at our 22nd Annual Celebration of Oregon Rivers!

To help you get ready, we’ve added some final details and reminders below. Please feel free to connect with development officer Jesse Robbins if you have any questions. Even if you can’t make it to the event tonight, you can still participate through proxy bidding or by making a donation to WaterWatch of Oregon.

We’re especially excited for this year’s Golden Ticket drawing as EVERY live auction package is available to Golden Ticket holders. For just $100, you can choose any of our live auction packages, and remember, we only sell 100 Golden Tickets to begin with.

Get excited and get ready, and we’ll see you at the World Forestry Center beginning at 5 p.m. this afternoon when doors open and silent auction bidding begins.

What to Know Before You Go

Some details to keep in mind as you prepare for tonight’s celebration:

  • Our event is at the World Forestry Center in Washington Park, located at 4033 SW Canyon Rd., Portland, 97221.
  • There’s plenty of parking available for a modest fee in the adjacent city parking lot, or you can utilize the Washington Park MAX Light Rail station that comes right to the campus.
  • As noted, doors open at 5 p.m. as registration and our silent auction get underway. Arrive promptly to take advantage of the social time with friends and colleagues, and bid on our array of silent auction items before dinner.
  • This is an indoor and outdoor event. While the silent auction will be held inside Cheatham Hall with cocktails and hors d’oeurves, the dinner, dessert, and live program will be held outside in a heated and walled tent.
  • It appears it will be a dry evening. As of now the forecast is calling for clear skies with a high of 70 today, dropping to 55 after sundown. Layer accordingly for comfort.

If you need special assistance or have questions about special needs accommodations, please connect Jesse Robbins ahead of the event at jesse@waterwatch.org.

Catch up on all our live and silent auction packages and items here. The evening’s program and live auction will wrap up by 8:30 p.m.
