Oregon Water Partnership Supports Appointment of Ivan Gall as Director of Oregon Water Resources Department
Oregon Senate to begin confirmation process of 26-year agency veteran at the end of May.

Salem, Oregon — The Oregon Water Partnership (OWP) supports Governor Kotek’s nomination of Ivan Gall as the next director of the Oregon Water Resources Department (OWRD).

Mr. Gall has extensive knowledge and experience with the water challenges facing Oregon, as well as the technical skills and policy know-how to hit the ground running. Our changing climate means there is no time to lose.

Mr. Gall has demonstrated the pragmatism needed to modernize the state’s approach to water management and build toward a secure water future for our ecosystems, communities, and economies. Oregon Water Partnership agrees with Governor Kotek that Mr. Gall’s expertise and track record demonstrate he is “ready to take this charge head on.”
